Junction Stoop Houses

This multi-family project in Morgan Junction is about density, orientation, and stacking of units as they rise up roughly 12 feet of slope. The street-front is activated by a large access stoop, providing an entry point that doubles as a landscape amenity. Each unit contains an ADU, providing a total of 14 new housing units for the neighborhood.

The units are uniform, and stack, rotate, and mirror as they rise up the slope to fit neatly within the site. A central courtyard at the midpoint provides access to 8 of the 14 units.

The street-facing facade celebrates the relationship to the neighborhood. These two units embrace the street, with a large entry stoop and big glazed openings.
